Foreign Delegations Liaison

Sandy Keene
Room G-51, State Office Building
St. Paul, MN 55155
(651) 296-9002; Fax: (651) 297-3697

The Foreign Delegations Liaison serves as the main point of contact in scheduling meetings and arranging itineraries for visiting international and state delegations to the Minnesota Legislature.  The program is designed to build goodwill, encourage information-sharing about the legislative process, and enhance Minnesota's national and international stature.  Distinguished visitors to the Legislature have included key international and state trade officials, political leaders, foreign diplomats, and European royalty.

The coordinator synthesizes background information on delegations, foreign cultures, and travel agendas into summaries and protocols for use by legislative leadership, legislators, staff, and visitors.

Call the coordinator to arrange meetings and receptions for visiting state and international delegations.
